Clara Killam’s Digby County

Clara Killam’s photographic album, “Yarmouth County and Nova Scotia Scenery 1890,” provides an engaging glimpse of rural life at the western end of Nova Scotia in the late Victorian Era. Of the album’s 75 photographs, one-third depict scenes in Digby County, in the communities of Weymouth, Digby, and Bear River. Below is a selection of those images.
