In the Years of the Great War

 
 

The photograph albums in the archives of the Yarmouth County Museum and Archives (YCMA) usually feature an individual or family; but albums 15 and 68 are unusual in that their photographs record how the community of Yarmouth responded to the social stresses that arose after the Great War began, ninety-nine years ago, on 28 July 1914. Eighteen of the images below are from these albums.
