Port Maitland Postcards

During July 2011 the PhotoGallery features thirty postcards, from Wilfred Allan’s collection, that depict scenes in Port Maitland during the first half of the twentieth century. The scenes are primarily along Main Street from the Quaco Road, where the town’s fourth schoolhouse was located, north to Beaver River Corner. I give cancellation dates (if legible) in the captions of cards that were actually mailed.

I thank Wilfred Allan for permission to display these images.
